Is this the world for ’our benefit’?
I have been wondering for quite a while now - what is happening in the world, is this all because of my own benefit, where is the concept of the public good in the states that we live in and that we largely support as taxpayers? I was pretty disappointed to reach the conclusion that I did not pick up to be a subject of a financial crisis, I did not pick up to either be in a position where I cannot pay my own bills or a position where I cannot afford a calm and a nice life. And why is this happening? Because rulers changed the otherwise well organized world we used to live in before.
Nowadays, even if you hold a job in a prestigious cleansing data company, you have all prerequisite reasons to feel insecure. No matter the salary, the bills will always keep increasing.Parliament is imposing new taxes, prices of resources are increasing, even simple things like chocolate and coffee keep increasing because of the ’global financial climate’. But what kind of a climate is that? Did I choose to live in a world like this, did I make a decision to relate hedgefunds to risky investments? No I did not. So what is my conclusion then?
The Financial Climate - it is a case of no definition, because any definition would be too mild to express the interdependence ordinary people have with the world of finance!
So my conclusion is that the political organization of the state we live in has changed. Politicians allowed too much interference from financial institutions in the matters of the state, allowed for the process of deregulation to occur and did almost nothing to prevent the world from an economic disaster. This is why I am unhappy - I am unhappy with the politicians that rule me, I am unhappy with the taxes I pay, I am unhappy that the money I spent go into the hands of large financial institutions that cannot care less about me or anyone in the public. And I am worried that worse times are about to come!
