Stefani Germanotta do you know who that is? I bet you don’t know her by this name. She is mostly known as Lady Gaga, the pop sensation that burst out into mainstream music with Just Dance, Pokerface and many other songs. The thing about Lady Gaga is that, she is not going away anytime soon. Her music is hip, loud, in your face and actually has a message, well sort of.
Lady Gaga is more than just a pop icon; she is becoming a world icon. Much like Michael Jackson, the Beatles, and Madonna are. She is talented though she does have many critics, but who doesn’t? She also brings attention to causes that she believes in, she believes in gay rights and is a feminist. She makes music that people love and she has millions of fans in a span of just a couple of years. How did she reach this point?
Gaga was born in New York City in 1986, she attended a Catholic school, and she starred in plays during high school. After she was done with school she got tired of just being in plays, so she started singing in small clubs and bars.
Her name Gaga came from a text she had received that was sent incorrectly. After that she always wanted to go by Gaga.
Her first album called The Fame was released in 2008 and since then she has gained a huge following. She had a popular first tour which allowed her to have a second one as well. She is still growing in popularity and people are falling in love with her music. Looking at her growing fame and recognition even the sports partners want to invest into her music albums. Like many other famous idiots in the music industry, Lady Gaga also does outrageous things like wear a meat dress at the MTV video music awards and her fashion gains her a lot of attention. So Stefani Germanotta went from a little catholic school girl to becoming a world pop star and her fame continues to grow.
